چکیده

This paper deals with adsorption regularities and mechanisms of nonradioactive Cs(I) Sr(II) analogs on bentonites different chemical mineral composition from solutions Cs Sr nitrates pH 3, 7, 10 units at constant ionic strength. The were taken the deposits Taganskoe (T), Dash-Salakhlinskoe (DS), Zyryanskoe (Z), 10th Khutor (10H). bentonite aqueous suspensions, T DS, exceeded 9 units. A less alkaline reaction was observed in suspensions Z 8.94 7.70, respectively. Bentonites DS contained significant amounts nonsilicate iron compounds, 1.0 0.5%, recovery rate studied clays ions concentrations 0.25 to 5 mmol/L varied 50% 90% decreased following order: “Ta-ganskoe” > “Dash-Salakhlinskoe” “Zyryanskoe” “10th Khutor” range. main mechanism sorption range cation fixation form outer-sphere complexes planar surfaces resulting ion exchange. ADSORPTION OF p-NITROPHENOL IN THREE DIFFERENT ACTIVATED CARBONS AT DIFFERENT pH

Adsorption of p-Nitrophenol by three different activated carbons (F100, S.E.I. and B.D.H.) was carried out at 301 K and at controlled pH conditions. Two different adsorption models (Langmuir model and Freundlich model) were studied and compared. The adsorption capacity of the carbons depends on the Point of Zero Charge (PZC) and surface area of the carbons. Adsorption of the solute at higher pH...

Adsorption of Microcystin LR and LW on Suspended Particulate Matter (SPM) at Different pH

The occurrence of microcystins (MC) during aquatic blooms of cyanobacteria in eutrophicated freshwater body has increasingly become an environmental and health concern worldwide. An experimental study was conducted to investigate the adsorption of two common variants of microcystins, MCLR and MCLW, onto SPM at different pH values. The results showed that most microcystins spiked into an SPM sol...
